Goldbronze 125
Goldbronze 125 (CuSn7Au12.5) is a bronze alloy developed and patented by SINN, consisting of one-eighth gold. This alloy has an exceptionally high level of purity. Traditional bronze is a copper-tin alloy (e.g., CuSn8) combined with a wide range of additives. In Goldbronze 125, typical impurities and additives are below the detection limit of 0.002%. The special purity in 4-nine quality results in improved skin compatibility and increased corrosion resistance to seawater compared to conventional bronze alloys. While Goldbronze 125 still develops surface darkening through oxidation—commonly known as patina—the gold content in the alloy ensures greater resistance to environmental influences.
