144 St S Jubiläum
One of the most traditional series from the house of Sinn Spezialuhren celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2014: the 144. To mark this special occasion, a limited edition of 300 sports chronographs is being produced in the 144 St S Jubilee series with Black Hard Coating. The two engravings ‘40 Jahre’ and ‘Eine von 300’ on the back, document and mark the occasion. The chronograph 144 St S Jubilee features a solid bracelet with Black Hard Coating on a TEGIMENT Technology base.
The style and design of the watch follows on from its predecessor, the popular black chrome-plated 144 St S. However, the 144 St S Jubilee is more technically advanced, as the chronograph combines several of the latest SINN technologies. For example, the surface of the beadblasted stainless-steel case is hardened using TEGIMENT Technology, making it especially scratch-resistant. This TEGIMENT case surface also provides the base for the Black Hard Coating (PVD coating), which is much more robust than the simple black chrome plating used in the previous model. Additional technology, i.e. Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, ensures greater functional reliability and freedom from fogging.
