A watch serving a good cause. This is the theme of the cheque presented by Sinn Spezialuhren to the children’s and youth home Stiftung Waisenhaus in Frankfurt am Main. Directors Doris Mollath-Zündorf and Peter Gerdon are excited about the donation of € 4,000. Arno Gabel, representing Sinn Spezialuhren, presented the cheque today at the children’s and youth home.
Initially, an idea was formed to develop a watch together. The result of the cooperation between Sinn Spezialuhren and the delegation from the ‘Frankfurt am Main’ naval ship, represented by frigate captain Oliver Winkle, is the ‘Sinn 556 I EGV Frankfurt am Main’ model, which has been available since April 2013. To mark this cooperation, the silhouette of the ship and the ID number A 14112 of the ‘Frankfurt am Main’ are also included on the dial. As the ship’s company has supported the children’s and youth home for many years, Sinn Spezialuhren decided at the beginning of the collaboration to donate €100 to the institution for every ‘Sinn 556 Frankfurt am Main’ sold. The watch and the charitable initiative were well received by watch lovers. Those interested still have the chance to get one of these sought-after watches and continue the support for a good cause.
