From tradition to innovation - particularly with regard to the watches for aviators and their profession, the Sinn brand has a uniquely authentic connection to its roots. After all, Sinn became known among connoisseurs and experts for its wristwatches for pilots and cockpit navigation clocks in the early 1960s. The function and appearance of the cockpit navigation chronograph is rigorously matched to the practical requirements for its use. It has been optimized for readability to ensure absolutely unambiguous perception of the information provided - with clearly defined visual elements. The numbers, hands and indices have been given a white luminous coating for optimal contrast. This cockpit navigation clock is equipped with a particularly robust mechanical movement. It meets both the demanding specifications of EASA Form 1, which stipulate the airworthiness status and usability status of aircraft components as well as the requirements of the military test specification MIL-C-38207A. As part of this approval procedure, the instrument underwent various difficult type tests such as high and low temperature tests, vibration tests across a range of 500 to 3,000 vibrations per minute, special accuracy, power reserve, stopwatch function and magnetic field tests as well as tests at varying altitudes (low-pressure situations) and under different climatic conditions. Thus the NaBo 56 / 8 meets even the toughest professional standards and is also easy to operate thanks to its ergonomically situated push-pieces.
