Even the very first Sinn watches, from the beginning of the 1960s, were famously designed for extraordinary types of usage. The development of mission timers is every bit as extraordinary. Originally designed for people for whom precise, quick time measurement can mean the difference between life and death – for special units in the police and Federal Border Guard. Mission timers have been reduced to an absolute minimum, ensuring optimum readability and perfect time measurement. 

One unique feature catches the eye right away – the screw-fastened crown of the EZM 1 lies on the side of the solid pure titanium case facing away from the wrist. The protected push-pieces are ideally positioned so they can be started and stopped using your right thumb. We also came up with an innovative solution for the inner mechanisms of the EZM 1 to respond to the challenges at hand. To ensure the reliable function of the time display under even the most extreme conditions, we use SINN special oil as well as components individually selected according to their tolerances. This ensures the reliable function of the EZM 1 in conditions ranging from –20°C to +70°C. A safety bonus that can make all the difference.
